Free to enter, the historic monastery of Buckfast Abbey sits on the edge of Dartmoor and is home to a Roman Catholic community of Benedictine Monks. Visitors can enjoy lunches and cream teas at the Grange restaurant, and browse our shop for handmade goods, local food, gifts, books and a selection of plants for sale that can also be found around the spacious grounds. For more extended stays, our accommodations include a hotel and self-catering options, with a restaurant open to non-residents for breakfast and evening dining. Our refurbished conference centre offers a versatile space for events and meetings with modern amenities.
