Clare’s Preserves is a highly respected artisan producer of sweet and savoury preserves, based in Bovey Tracey at the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Founded in 2014, the business specialises in handmade jams, marmalades, jellies, chutneys and relishes, all crafted in small batches using traditional open‑pot methods.
Handmade, Small‑Batch & Provenance‑Led
Every jar of Clare’s Preserves is made by hand, with an uncompromising focus on quality, provenance and flavour. Only natural ingredients are used, with no artificial flavourings or preservatives, allowing the fruit's character and carefully balanced recipes to shine.
Wherever possible, ingredients are sourced locally, including Honey from Dartmoor beekeepers and gin and whisky from local Devon distilleries. Fresh, seasonal fruit picked to order from nearby growers. Even packaging reflects this local approach, with labels and jars sourced from suppliers in Devon and Somerset, and all glass jars manufactured in the UK.
