Their chefs and dietitians prepare every dish by hand using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, showcasing the very best of Devon’s farming, fishing and food‑producing communities. Meals are cooked in small batches, then frozen for freshness and convenience before being delivered across the region.
A Revolutionary Eco‑Friendly Meal Delivery Service
Devon Farm Kitchen is the first organisation in the UK—and globally—to run a frozen meal delivery service using fully reusable ceramic crockery.
Their sustainability model includes:
- Zero plastic and zero to landfill strategies
- Meals served on ceramic plates and bowls, collected and sanitised on the next delivery
- Cornwall‑sourced clay for plates
- Fully compostable, carbon‑neutral board for sleeves and boxes
- Recycling or repurposing of all kitchen waste in partnership with local food waste specialists
- Strong local sourcing policies to reduce food miles and strengthen the regional economy

This approach ensures fresher, tastier meals while supporting the county’s thriving agricultural and fishing sectors.
A Friendly, Person‑Centred Service
Deliveries are performed by DBS‑checked drivers who: Offer a friendly face and personal check‑in, collect ceramic plates and bowls, and provide an important point of social contact for isolated or elderly customers.
