Opened in September 2019, the farm shop (and later the café) was created to serve local, seasonal, fresh produce, with a commitment that all meat—if not their own—comes from within 15 miles of the site.

Fordmore produces as much as possible on its own farms and sources the rest from local suppliers who share a passion for quality and sustainability. The team has farmed organically for nearly 30 years, believing this is best for animal welfare, the environment and the customer.

The in‑house butcher focuses on grass‑fed Longhorn beef reared to 28–30 months for depth of flavour and tenderness, and is on hand to advise on cuts and cooking.
