Every batch is produced by hand in small 20‑litre quantities using traditional methods—mirroring the way top chefs would make their own ice‑cream—ensuring exceptional texture, depth of flavour, and consistency.
From Field to Fork- Granny Gothards’ philosophy is rooted in close relationships with local farms and a commitment to natural ingredients: Fresh milk from Oak Park Dairy in Clyst Hidon, a Jersey–Friesian herd prized for rich, high‑butterfat milk delivered daily from the first milking. West Country double cream from Gundenhams Dairy. Clarence Court free‑range egg yolks, creating a true crème anglaise base for their ice‑creams. No artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives, stabilisers, or base mixes—just natural ingredients, slow churning, and expertise. Their sorbets follow the same ethos: real fruit, water, and sugar—nothing more.
