Ivybridge Brewing Company is a pioneering not‑for‑profit social enterprise brewery, founded in 2018 with a powerful mission: to create paid work, training and meaningful employment for adults with learning disabilities. Every beer they brew, package and sell is crafted by their talented team, making Ivybridge Brewing not just a producer of outstanding beer, but a transformative force within the local community

Located in the heart of Ivybridge at Glanvilles Mill, the brewery has grown to include a microbrewery, an onsite taproom, and a shop, offering a welcoming, inclusive environment where customers can enjoy great beer while directly supporting social impact. Their team of ten oversees all aspects of brewing, packaging and serving — providing valuable skills, experience and confidence to each trainee.

Ivybridge Brewing Company’s core beers include:

Erme Pale – Session IPA, 4%
Moorland Mosaic – Mosaic‑hopped IPA, 5%
Red Lake – American Amber Ale, 4%
PILS 21 – Pilsner Lager, 4.8%

The taproom opens Thursday to Saturday evenings (5–9 pm), serving their full range of beers on draught in a relaxed, friendly space beside the River Erme. The shop is open Wednesday–Saturday, 10 am–2 pm, offering bottles, cans and brewery merchandise.

Ivybridge Brewing Company is a Social enterprise brewery employing adults with learning disabilities. Founded in 2018, now operating a full microbrewery, taproom and shop.
