Member Overview
Nestled in the rolling hills above the River Dart near Totnes, Sharpham Cheese is one of Devon’s most celebrated artisan cheesemakers. With over 40 years of traditional, handmade cheesemaking, Sharpham Dairy creates award‑winning soft and semi‑hard cheeses using milk from their own Jersey herd, alongside sheep and goats’ milk from trusted local farms.

A Devon Cheesemaker with Purpose
Sharpham Dairy is a certified B Corporation, reflecting its commitment to responsible production, sustainability and community impact. As the UK’s first B‑Corp cheesemaker, the business puts people and planet at the heart of every wedge it produces.  A small, expert team—collectively holding more than 100 years of experience—continues the craft begun on the Sharpham Estate in 1982. Today, the dairy remains family‑owned and deeply rooted in the Devon landscape at the South Devon Food Hub.

Handcrafted, Award‑Winning Cheeses
Sharpham’s range spans cows’, goats’ and sheep’s milk cheeses, each handmade in small batches for exceptional flavour and texture. Their cheesemaking blends classic European styles with unmistakable Devon character.
