The Curator is an independent coffee, bakery and lifestyle brand rooted in South Devon. They have been serving coffee in Totnes since 2012, opening on the day the Olympic torch passed through the town! With locations across Totnes, Hope Cove, Modbury, and Butterwalk and an upcoming Plymouth Market location. They roast, bake and serve everything themselves using traditional, slow methods and seasonal sourcing. Their style blends craftsmanship with community, offering beautifully designed cafés where great coffee and fresh baked goods take centre stage.
Wood‑Roasted Speciality Coffee
The Curator is known for its unique approach to roasting. They roast all their coffee over reclaimed wood, a slow and controlled process that draws out clarity, balance and sweetness from each bean. Their coffee menu includes Curator Espresso, All Day Espresso, and Decaf, as well as their Roaster’s Choice Subscription.
Each coffee is responsibly sourced from leading global producers, carefully selected for flavour and character.
Subscriptions are available for home delivery, allowing customers to enjoy their signature blends at the frequency that suits them.

Fresh bread, pastries and seasonal bakes are prepared each day in their Totnes bakery.
