This secluded country house hotel is just eight miles from the East Devon coastline, giving guests a true farm‑to‑fork countryside escape with easy access to beaches, cider orchards and local producers.

The Restaurant – 25‑Mile Menu Food Philosophy-The main restaurant is a relaxed, panelled dining room overlooking Devon’s hills, where every dish is built around the Kitchen Garden and hyper‑local produce from within 25 miles. Menus follow micro‑seasons, championing simple, flavour‑driven dishes.
The Folly – Rustic Outdoor Eatery & Bar- A derelict‑chic hideaway in the garden, The Folly serves wood‑fired eats, freshly baked pizzas, homemade treats and drinks in a laid‑back space with live music. It’s open seven days a week and welcomes both guests and non‑residents (dogs included!)
Bar & Lounges - The historic Great Hall has been transformed into a warm, informal bar filled with oversized sofas, a roaring fire, and a long bar pouring local craft ales, ciders, and some of the best English wines. The focus is strongly local and seasonal. You can also get incredible seasonal cocktails here.
The Cellar – Sommelier’s Table for Private Wine Dinners-A candlelit private dining experience for up to six guests, held in the restored 16th‑century wine vaults. Guests enjoy a five‑course seasonal menu paired with wines selected and served by the house sommeliers.
