Waterhouse Fayre
Member Overview
Waterhouse Fayre is a cherished, family‑run producer of handmade jams, marmalades, chutneys and preserves, crafted in small batches in Burlescombe, Tiverton. Founded in 2004 by Ann Stallard—initially as a way to use surplus home‑grown raspberries—the business has grown into one of Devon’s most respected preserve makers, supplying farm shops, delis, tea rooms, restaurants and hotels throughout the West Country and beyond.

Ann and husband Neil run the business from their rural Devon home, where they cultivate much of their own fruit on seven acres of land. They also work closely with local growers to source premium produce, allowing them to maintain exceptional quality and strong regional provenance.

Waterhouse Fayre is renowned for its traditional, small-batch production, using preserving pans “just like you have at home” to achieve rich, authentic flavour. Their preserves are stocked widely across Mid Devon and the wider region—including Bampton Game, Deli Shack Tiverton, Quicke’s, Mole Valley Farmers and various tearooms and farm shops.

The company has earned numerous awards, particularly through Food Drink Devon, with Golds for products such as Whortleberry Jam, Beetroot & Horseradish Chutney, Seville Marmalade and more.

They also have a No Added Sugar range called “Strictly Fruit” Range – made with Zusto

Their preserves are celebrated for their depth of flavour, high fruit content, and traditional methods—ideal for cream teas, cheeseboards, hampers and gifting
